I hope she is able to locate and rejoin her pod or is adopted by another pod. I didn't realize her mom was pregnant but previous reports made it sound as if the sandbar where her mother died was in between where the calf was located and the way back out to open the ocean and that the calf was avoiding that area. This is excellent news nonetheless...

 
Apparently male orcas are much harder to raise than females so I wonder if the sex of the calf would help or hurt it's chances of adoption by a pod.
