There is only one deal to be made with Iran and that is for Iran to permanently give up enriching uranium and not to process spent fuel rods. The IAEA has a nearby plant that will provide fuel for the reactors and process the spent fuel rods.Could have been worse, indeed. Hopefully, some deal can now be reached.
Yes, something like this. A country that supports groups like Hamas forfeited the right to civil nuclear power anyway. Can´t they get some windmills or coal plants? There is only one deal to be made with Iran and that is for Iran to permanently give up enriching uranium and not to process spent fuel rods. No need to give up nuclear energy for civilian use, they just need to give up enriching uranium or processing spent fuel rods.Yes, something like this. A country that supports groups like Hamas forfeited the right to civil nuclear power anyway. Can´t they get some windmills or coal plants?
I don´t know if they agree. Probably not. It doesn´t make much sense if a dependency on foreign organisations is the result. So they can shut down the whole project. No need to give up nuclear energy for civilian use, they just need to give up enriching uranium or processing spent fuel rods.
And if they don't agree to it, the whole project can be blown up. Given Iran's history and frequent declarations of its intent to destroy Israel and eventually the US, it cannot be allowed to possess the ability to produce nuclear weapons. Iran has limited options: give it up or we will blow it up.I don´t know if they agree. Probably not. It doesn´t make much sense if a dependency on foreign organisations is the result. "The operation to detain the ship "Madlin" with 12 pro-Palestinian activists, including Greta Thunberg, was carried out in accordance with international law. This was stated by Dmitry Gendelman, adviser to the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
He explained that everything was carried out "quickly, professionally and in full compliance with international law." Tel Aviv will continue to resolutely suppress any attempts to undermine the security of the state.
Gendelman clarified that the passengers of the ship will be shown documentary evidence of mass atrocities committed by Hamas terrorists.
"Those who try to present themselves as 'humanitarian activists' must be clear about whose interests they are acting in," a spokesman for Netanyahu's office said.
Earlier, the US President's Special Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Whitkoff, said that Hamas's response to the US proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is unacceptable."

Activist from Greta's sailing ship threatens Israel: "You won't exist much longer"
Shortly after the pro-Palestinian activist Acar, who was on Greta's ship, landed in Berlin, she threatened the Jewish state that it would not exist much longer. She would return "until we end the siege."
On Thursday evening, activist Yasemin Acar, who was planning to sail to Gaza with Greta Thunberg, landed in Berlin. Shortly after her arrival, the activist threatened the Jewish state.
"We will come back until we stop the siege," Acar declared in a press statement at the airport, accusing Israel of kidnapping her. According to the Berliner Zeitung , the German activist also declared: "You can banish me from Palestine for 100 years." But Israel "will not exist so long that I will not see Palestine again," Acar threatened. She further insulted the Jewish state as a "child murderer."
Acar also posted a video on Instagram on Friday in which she lamented: "We were held captive." She said she was forced to sit "for 20 hours with elite soldiers who were responsible for some of the most gruesome massacres." Acar described the Israeli Defense Forces as "killing machines sent onto a humanitarian aid ship."
She claims to have seen fear in the soldiers' "soulless eyes," "because they know they have already lost." Concluding, Acar addresses Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and threatens: "We will be back." Israel has lost, and "Palestine will be free."
Together with Greta Thunberg and ten other activists, Acar planned to sail to Gaza on the sailing ship "Madleen" as part of the "Freedom Flotilla" protest. The Israeli Navy eventually intercepted the ship on Monday 160 kilometers off the coast of Gaza.
According to the IDF, this happened "calmly" and "without injuries." All persons on board were provided with water and sandwiches "safely and unharmed" and then taken to the port of Ashdod. There, the activists received medical treatment, were interviewed, and then repatriated to their countries of origin.
