Illegal immigrants do not represent all immigrants, you need to specify. A large majority of illegals just want to work and send money back home, so they dont want trouble when they are here, but there is a large enough group to be a problem who are connected to criminal enterprise, or ones who commited crimes in their home countries. When they are not screened through the legal process it becomes a huge problem.
the Migrants themselves are preyed on by the bad ones. Patheticaly, this problem was made much larger and harder to deal with because of the last Admin... who claimed there was no problem, or that there was no way to stop the flow over the border.
