The fact is that Johnny was headed toward destruction. He turned his life around for the better. That is something I find commendable. He even said that after he turned his life around, there was not a morning he didn't awaken craving drugs but that he fought the craving each day. I salute him.

I don't know what the hell American Evangelicalism is, it's some quasi-satanic anti-Christ church that hates the poor, and seeks to cut any responsibility to their fellow man.

You don't see lines of the needy leading to the doors of these "true fundamentalist churches".

In fact I call into question the Christianity of any church that is not staffed 100% of the time, with its doors always open.

Actually I've had conversations with ignorant theists who believe just because they can't imagine reality and they've admitted they would be sad if this was all there is.

To me that's sad. They aren't happy with the life they had/have. I however am happy with the life I got. Very grateful even if I die today.

What about the baby who dies of cancer? Now that's sad. But unfortunately for that person, this is still all there is. We want to believe there's an afterlife but that's just wishful thinking.

It never ceases to amaze me how some folks actually claim that Believers are ignorant when there are so many scientists, astronomers, and others within the scientific community most especially within the medical field who are highly educated who believe in God. Many of these folks are most probably more highly educated than those on USMB who are claiming on uneducated and ignorant are believers.
