if you would listen to the news channels here in south Texas, if you could see them been interviewed on live TV, you would hear them say why they are coming to the USA. they come to the USA for a better life, better jobs , better healthcare , better schools and so on. they are using asylum claims to gain entry to the USA. people have the right to immigrate to the US or any other country. but as you say there is a due process to follow. the USA cannot admit every person in the world who wants to immigrate to the USA . they must adhere to US immigration laws, apply to immigrate legally and go to the back of the line. not just claim they fear for their lives in their home countries.

this is not comedy hour, these are people entering the USA illegally at our southern border. they come with the believe that they have the right to enter the USA because because they want a better life. yes you see them on the evening local news crossing the Rio Grande river carrying their children. they use asylum claims to circumvent US immigration laws, that way they are not sent back to their home countries. US authorities allow them to stay in the USA to wait for their asylum hearings. but at this point they have accomplished their goal. they are in the USA.
