...is proctor a long, standardized test. Aside from sometimes translating the test instructions for EL students at the beginning of the test, there is very little interaction unless someone needs computer help because the application running the computerized test crashes and needs to be reinstalled. Some of these tests are very long, and the time just crawls. Not like the dynamic of teaching at all. In fact, you can't help the students in any way but those mentioned. The main work is tech support when needed and making sure no one tries to cheat. You can't go in the corner and read a book because you have to keep an eye on the group. Sure it's easy, but man is it boring.
