One of America's largest companies set to be nationalized. "Manhattan Project."

Trump is turning out to be quite the fascist. Or is this communism?

Trump launches 'Manhattan Project' as one of America's largest companies set to be nationalized

The Trump administration has launched their own 'Manhattan Project,' as reports have suggested one of America's largest chipmakers could be partly nationalized.

Intel. Corp, one of the most capable semiconductor manufacturers in the US, has been in talks with the Trump administration as the US government is seeking a stake in the company.

'This feels like the Manhattan Project - or the run-up to World War II,' MIT AI computer scientist Dave Blundin said on a podcast with MIT engineer Peter Diamandis.

'It's every bit as important as the space race was, as the nuclear arms race was. Actually, it's more important.'

The consideration to nationalize the company, a move typically done in times of national urgency, comes as the US is looking to get ahead of China in the AI and tech arms race.
This is the actual news. Yours is called yellow news.

Trump administration explores US stake in Intel in push for chip dominance: report

The Trump administration is in talks with Intel to inject federal capital into the company, according to people familiar with the discussions. The aim is to expedite U.S. semiconductor production and reinvigorate Intel’s long-delayed Ohio factory, Bloomberg reported.

"We look forward to continuing our work with the Trump administration to advance these shared priorities, but we are not going to comment on rumors or speculation," an Intel spokesperson told FOX Business.

Computer chips are a national security issue... we are in a technological war with China... battling their product theft... spying and underhanded espionage....

The government needs to stay out of the free market. Anyone who suggests otherwise is either a RINO or a democrat.
We do not live in pure capitalism in some industries. For whatever the reason. How we made Taiwan make critical tech products for the West is mind boggling as an example. We have traitors inside our nation.

Inject federal capital.

Well that explains all the deals he's been making to get companies here. Just give them a bunch of our money.

RINO's are destroying the Republican party.

No sense is found in your latest post.

President Trump isn’t pulling any of us to the left. And it’s worth considering the nationalization of a crucial industry (or company) where the company may be failing but its product is needed.

You offer nothing intelligent of logical in your spewing of empty phrases. As usual for you.

If he's not pulling you morons left, then you're already there. And you just don't know it.

Private sector jobs are not to be nationalized. The federal government doesn't have the constitutional authority for that.

You are the moron. And it’s not my fault yo don’t know your left from your right or your ass from a hole in the ground.

Because you say so?

Try to be honest and informative.

What part of the Constitution are you claiming denies the government authority in a scenario such as this? And what about the law which specifically authorizing it do you contend is “unconstitutional?”

I suspect the established laws and precedents won’t support your presently unsupported contention. See, for instance:

As a democrat why aren't you celebrating this?

If you're stupid enough to think I'm a democrats, then I don't know what to tell you.

I'm to the right of Trump and 90% of this worshippers.

I'm not normally one to support government involvement in this kind of thing, but a company of this nature could accurately be described as "essential to national security."

I think you’re stupid.

We have had a good deal of national and historical experience with mostly emergency nationalization of companies or industries.

This is neither left nor right. It is merely the use of law where YOU still can’t explain how it would be deemed “unconstitutional.”

Accept your obvious and public fail instead of doubling down on your ignorance.

Yours Truly do you know when the pee tape will be coming out ?

There are no real details to your post just a blanket claim as a LIBs sees everything.

Lutnick says Intel has to give government equity in return for CHIPS Act funds

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said Tuesday that Intel must give the U.S. government an equity stake in the company in return for CHIPS Act funds.

“We should get an equity stake for our money,” Lutnick said on CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street.” “So we’ll deliver the money, which was already committed under the Biden administration. We’ll get equity in return for it.”

Shares of the struggling chipmaker climbed 7% Tuesday, continuing to rally on recent reports that the Trump administration is weighing different ways to get involved with the company.

Bloomberg reported Monday that the White House was discussing a 10% stake in Intel, in a deal that could see the U.S. government become the chipmaker’s largest shareholder.

Intel and SoftBank announced on Monday that the Japanese conglomerate will make a $2 billion investment in the chipmaker. The investment, equal to about 2% of Intel, makes SoftBank the fifth-biggest shareholder, according to FactSet.

I remember when Repubs claimed to be all about free enterprise. This while subsidizing legacy energy companies.

If ignorance is bliss, then the poster with the username. “Yours Truly” has to be one very blissful idiot.
Do you think Trump could turn you gay? Because he has turned you pro states rights pro free market Republicans into big time federal government socialists.

One of Trump’s top economic advisers hinted at the federal government taking stakes in other U.S. companies after striking a deal with Intel.

Kevin Hassett told CNBC Trump is open to owning a share of businesses beyond the microchip sector. The comments suggesting a wider policy of nationalization are likely to alarm pro-free market Republicans.

I'm sure that at some point there'll be more transactions like this one, if not in this industry in other industries.”
