One more step, in the guidelines to becoming a dictator, that Trump took today!

Of course you can't help it. Of course.

Sadly for you, the calculations are made the same way every time, even if there is a vindictive orange titty baby in office with the temperament of a three year old.
You totally missed the point there

**** is exactly what he will be doing to you! Enjoy it.

Oh, and by the way, Dictators do not step down from power, so be prepared to be fucked until the day you die!
Interesting prediction, Nostradumbass. :rolleyes-41:

I don't think Biden fired the BLS commissioner while in office, but his administration did make significant revisions to job numbers during several months.

While I agree that the distortion of info is a typical characteristic of dictatorships, a comparable behavior under Biden was the push for a "disinformation tsar." Disinformation, as defined by the previous administration, was rather broad and tended to be politically convenient for the Dems back during COVID.

To be fair, our government has a long history of propagandizing. Even the food pyramid turned out to be a lie.

The revisions were made because of information received AFTER the initial announcement.

The push for someone as “misinformation” official was directed at right wing media conspiracy theories, and Russian propaganda - which is still making its way to the floors of both the House and Senate. Nothing to do with government statistics.

Of course with trump in the White House, the Russian propaganda as bad is also coming from your President.

McFarter is a Biden appointee who was notorious for publishing fake labor statistics and then "revising" them after the headlines died down. It is a wonder that she was allowed to stay on this long.
They have been revising the numbers since way before her, it is hilarious watching so many people trying to imply this is a new thing.

President Trump fires BLS commissioner after July jobs report

President Trump said in a social media post Friday afternoon that he directed members of his administration to fire Erika McEntarfer, commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, after the BLS on Friday published the July jobs report that contained what it called "larger than normal" revisions to data from May and June.

Controlling the information given to the people, is one of the steps that Dictators need to control the population.

The dictator’s dilemma: The distortion of information flow in autocratic regimes and its consequences

This is what Trump is now trying to destroy!

AI Overview

The United States has a long-standing reputation for its robust system of collecting and disseminating labor and economic statistics. Agencies like the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) are key players in this effort.
Here's why the US is seen as a leader in this field:
  • Established history: The BLS, established in 1884, has a long history of collecting high-quality data on various aspects of the nation's economy, including labor force participation, wages, prices, and productivity. Similarly, the BEA, founded in 1972, provides crucial data on national, regional, industry, and international economic accounts, including the widely-cited Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
  • Comprehensive data collection: The BLS and BEA collect data through a combination of surveys, censuses, and administrative records, producing a broad range of statistics on employment, unemployment, wages, inflation (measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Producer Price Index (PPI)), and productivity, among other indicators. For example, the BLS conducts the Current Population Survey (CPS) to gather labor force information from households.
  • Accuracy and Impartiality: BLS data aims to be relevant, timely, accurate, impartial, and accessible to all users. The BLS is committed to independence from partisan interests, ensuring its data's credibility and reliability.
  • Impact on Policy and Decision-Making: U.S. economic data significantly impacts policymakers, researchers, businesses, and the public. This data informs critical decisions related to monetary policy, tax and budget projections, and business investment plans, among others.
Here is an example of the opposite, by a country run by a Dictator:

Putin’s War on Truth

Trump continues to follow the guidelines for becoming a dictator.

For those supporting Trump, I hope that you enjoy (and can live with) the cutting off of data, statistics, and facts in order to support fake truths that Trump wants you to believe.
We got rid of the dictators. That's why Trump is now president.

poppycock......guffaw......and boulderdash!.........~S~

Trump can't handle bad news....so he punishes the messenger. The fact is that Trump's fucked up tariffs are scaring U.S. employers and they do not want to hire more people.

So even our economic data is going to be a total lie from now on.....because Trump can't handle the truth. The Bureau Of Labor Statistics is probably going to report 500,000 new jobs every month just to please Trump.

Trump supporters might think this is good news....more Trump lies about the economy....but this will definitely hurt the U.S. economy over the next few years. Business investment will completely dry up in this country if they can't trust the economic data coming from the Federal government.

From the Washington Post --

After campaigning on a pledge to free business from worrying about Washington’s dictates, Trump has made public policy — and his own norm-busting behavior — the primary variables affecting the $30 trillion U.S. economy, economists said.

It all adds up to an economy that grew at an annual rate of 1.2 percent over the first half of the year, a notable downshift from its 2.4 percent pace at the end of 2024. The S&P 500 index, which has been on a tear since mid-April, reacted by shedding 2.5 percent of its value this week.

“We’re seeing dramatic changes in policy across multiple dimensions. Trump inherited an economy that was in very good shape, that was in balance. He is trying to move it to a different equilibrium. And the corporate sector and everyone else are in the process of adjusting,” said Eric Winograd, senior vice president of AllianceBernstein in New York.

That adjustment grew even tougher on Friday, when the president ordered the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics fired over claims that she had tampered with employment figures to hurt him politically, without presenting evidence.

Even as the costs of his policies became more apparent, the action ignited worries that Trump’s volatile temperament could cause additional economic harm by undermining market confidence in the government data that investors, business executives and policymakers require to make decisions.

Firing a nonpartisan analyst for delivering bad news was “straight out of an autocratic playbook,” said Heidi Shierholz, former chief economist of the Labor Department and now the president of the Economic Policy Institute, a left-of-center think tank.
“If policymakers and the public can’t trust the data — or suspect the data are being manipulated — confidence collapses and reasonable economic decision-making becomes impossible. It’s like trying to drive a car blindfolded,” she said.

What provoked Trump’s ire was news that employers had created just 73,000 jobs in July and that the BLS had overstated hiring for the prior two months by 258,000 positions. The downward revisions left total new hiring over the past three months at an anemic 106,000 compared with the 368,000 jobs created during the same period in 2024.

This is old news As it were, he probably looked at the incorrect 900k bunp (what in the...900k off?!) she gave Biden/Harris before the election and the inaccurate numbers the first few months of 2025,.skewed to be presented with political timing of her choosing (after the latest tariff increase for instance) and decided he had a sea going sitch in his midst. if America and the world cannot rely on honest data, regardless of who it hurts or benefits; you will be no different than China and the CCP data releases.

Ummm, I don't lie sir, that's a sin. My speculation for him firing her is just that, I cant prove it, so in that regard it is opinion. However, I can deduct, through confirmed FACTS, that she overstated Bidens economy.by almost 900k for months before the election, she also skewed Trumps numbers to allow flexibility to be "corrected downwards" at a time of her choosing. She chose this month, she could have played it out until the next report or even further before downward "adjusting" again. Trump needs to promote.the cuts to govt jobs replaced by private sector, Americans being employed not illegals and 4% wage increases.

She is a total hack, that is why she was fired.

Nothing unusual about this....big companies always report their jobs data first, followed by smaller companies.

And Trump's tariffs are hurting small companies more than big companies...which every economist predicted would happen.

Hence, that explains the downward correction.

She reported the truth about how Trump's fucked up tariffs are hurting job growth.

And that's why she was fired.

You MAGAs want to be lied to. You need to be lied to.
