The stunning settlement emerged just as opening statements were supposed to begin, abruptly ending a case that had embarrassed Fox News over several months and raised the possibility that network founder Rupert Murdoch and stars such as Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity would have to testify publicly.

“The truth matters. Lies have consequences,” Dominion lawyer Justin Nelson told reporters outside a Delaware courthouse after Superior Court Judge Eric Davis announced the deal.

Regardless to claims of vote rigging, FOX NEWS admitted. they lied about Dominion Voting Systems. The claims against Dominion were one of many unproven conspiracy theories made after President Biden won in 2020. Accusations made Ghouli against Shay Moss and Ruby Freeman were lies as well and he lost the two Women in defamation suit they filed against him. To this day, no legally supported proof of Election/Voter Fraud has been found. Just way to many wild ass, half=baked conspiracy theories that went nowhere.

The issue was never about Dominion Voting machines. They WON the suit, and forced Fox Noise to settle.

The issue is whether an organization representing itself as a "news organization" can lie to its audience and still be called news or journalism.

Since Fox was not set up to adhere to any such standards, and was basically nothing more than right wing talk radio with pictures, they are not, and never have been a news outlet.

Fox wrote the check and went right back to lying to its audience. Telling it what it wants to hear rather than what it needs to know to make informed opinions and decisions.

As both of us have on this forum have seen, even after losing Dominion Voting Systems, ReNaziKlans here still site fucked snooze as a source. Just RWNJ on this forum still use GateWayFuckNuts as a source even after GWFN made an out of court settlement with Shay Moss and Ruby Freeman for the lies GWFN had made about them. In fact, GWFN had tried to file for bankruptcy to avoid them having to pay them, judge wouldn't have it and that led the out of court settlement.
