Is all criticism of President Obama really just hatred?

It is important to understand in these things that many of those who support President Obama were being patriotic and exercising their right to free speech when they criticized President Bush even when they used the most hateful caricatures and language to do it.

But to the same people, ANY criticism of President Obama, even using the most civil language, is hate speech. (And/or racist. Or we are parroting a talk show host or some such. You get the drift.)

Once you understand that, it all makes a lot more sense.

Obama has proven himself to be too conservative even for his base. Ask what he's done that's so "radical" and you get, "He's a communist/socialist/Fascist/Muslim and so on".

The right will say, "I don't want to be forced to buy health insurance". Even though you are forced to buy car insurance. And what's the difference? You buy car insurance because if you get into an accident, the taxpayer gets stuck with the bill. Uh, kinda like those without health insurance who go to the emergency room at 10 to 100 times the cost ---- or more.

The tax payer gets stuck with the bill.

You don't see any valid criticism, not because there's none there, but because you don't want to see it.

Most every weekend, I walk around here on Long Island in New York with a LOL Obama shirt.......the hope and change gay rainbow thingy in the middle of the O.

Last year.......only a few comments here and there. Now? I get thumbs up......."great shirt"........"indeed"......."love it"......etc ........all the time. And this is fcukking New York....as blue a state as they come.

What happens if an uninsured driver hits an insured driver?
