Olive Garden will close on Christmas. Score one for conservatives

I would ask, who gives a **** what Melania thinks about Christmas?
You should, Malaria is married to your dear leader.
She is part of the "war' on Chreeeesmas.
As First Lady she is showing respect for the American people and what we give a **** about

Thats enough
LOL.
Btw: what is the source of the audio?

Did she let her guard down and speak honestly to a snake in the grass she thought was a friend?
Of course, THAT'S what worries you.

Why does anyone care whether or not a store is open or closed on christmas? People are free to do whatever they wish. The fact that we are all free to conduct our day as we wish is what counts. It has no effect on anyone. If you want to close then close. Want to stay open then great. Whats the difference?

I ordered salmon ''to go'' there and when I got home and looked at it, I swear I could have made a sandwich out of it on crackers.

In that case why have holidays at all?

Particularly for government employees who get paid to lounge around on a work day doing even less work than usual

Godless libs should be insulted and demand to show up st the office on Jesus’ birthday

Showing consideration for their employees

Very liberal of them

Any employer worth working for offers 2x holiday pay. So if one is making $30 pet hour thats $60 per hour. The way it should be.

Ok, thats a backhanded way of respecting the Savior’s birthday that I dont object to

Imagine some 30 year old single person who is working hard and saving. Lets say making pittance of $25 per hour. I know thats a meager wage but reality. Now they have a chance to making 2 days pittance in 1 day. Theyd jump at that chance.

Have you ever noticed that the "live and let live" conservatives are the ones who have issues with everything? Cracker Barrel wants to change a logo as businesses have done for centuries...nobody has an issue with it except them. Stores open on Sunday...they have an issue with it.

candycorn: Take your fake news and shove it. You've just been blocked. The list started with IM2, quite a few others were added, and now you're the latest. I will not engage with people like you.
Sure...

I love it when people put me on ignore....

A) They never actually do it.
B) I miss nothing because their "wisdom" is non-existent to start with
C) I get to point out that you're a liar without your rebuttal.

Every olive garden on earth should burn to the ground

I remember when it first opened in the 80s. They had pasta making machines going all the time, and the pasta was fresh and so good. Wait times of 2+ hours. Then like so many chains, they started to serve basically warmed over frozen meals. This happens over and over and over....if I can cook better food, more cheaply at home--I'm not going

Take out Chinese is a Christmas classic for many people. Many of those places remain open.

Ironically, most of the Christmas decorations purchased in the US are made in China,

All the woke anti Christian motherfuckers should work Christmas Day,

And most of the trinkets most americans will take the next year to pay off on those high interest credit cards are made overseas. america has turned christmas into a spending thing mostly. Its been quite a spectacle to observe. The gift giving thing has gone out of control. christmas has become about the $.

Yes, it is a retail holiday.

Black Friday is when many retail outlets finally have a profit for YEAR TO DATE.

in the PO if your day off that week was christmas you get the day before that off as your day off,so if they need you to work Christmas eve you get triple time...everyone volunteered for that.....

The only good thing there was their salad.
I haven't been to one in about 8 years so not sure that is still any good. Probably not as, we all agree, restaurant food went into the toilet everywhere after Covid.

Yes!

It used to be considered GOOD FOOD. Like it was a flex to go to the Olive Garden when I was a young man. You could take a date there.

Now it is a punchline and a perfect example of overselling a brand for profit. Now Olive Garden is like a microwaved frozen dinner.
