Ole Miss Closes Down Racist Fraternity Chapter

Racial or ethnic segregation manifests itself in various levels. Preclusion is one and identity is another.

That doesnt explain why you thought segregation meant inclusion. How are the BSU or NAACP segregated organizations?

Allow me to repeat myself -- ONCE -- for your benefit. Identity. The groups' identity politics is segregation.
Like allowing blacks to join the NAAWP or WSU. I have a black friend who is an honorary member of the KKK. You don't think the KKK is segregationist?

No the groups identity politics are not segregation. You are a retard for thinking so. I dont believe your story about the black guy in the KKK but what does that have to do with the BSU and the NAACP?

You're trying to reason with a black person who thinks he's more intelligent than you when the fact is he's no different than every other mad black or eve white person on his high horse. This shit is so boring that it makes tax law look like a Hemingway novel.

Fraternity closes Ole Miss chapter after racial incident - CNN.com

The school did the right thing. These inbreds with no respect for anything other than their right to be bigots and racists got expelled from school and their local chapter shut down. Hopefully they learn a lesson about having respect for everyone.

The three students who were expelled from the frat house months ago by the leadership of the frat house do not make the entire frat house racist.

In fact your article states the frat house was not closed down because of the three idiot bigot racists who were expelled by the frat house for their unacceptable behavior.

I acknowledged that my post was in error a page back. The racial incident was the reason.

Well I missed anything else as I responded beofore I read the whole thread. What bothers me is you painted the whole frat at bigots, Inbreds, etc for the behavior of 3 who were expelled from the capture right after the incident was discovered. And the closure was not because of that incident:

"The decision is not a result of any individual incident, but a response to newly discovered, ongoing behavior that includes incidents of hazing, underage drinking, alcohol abuse, and failure to comply with the university and fraternity's codes of conduct," the fraternity said in a statement Thursday.

"Though the incident involving the James Meredith statue several months ago did not directly result in the chapter's closure, it did mark the beginning of an intensified period of review."

You have to be intelligent in order to reason. I dont think I am more intelligent than roshawnmarkee, I know I am. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind of that fact.

Race-based identity politics is segregation. There is no need to use skin color as a predicate for anything political except for racism. The problem is that entities that once upon a time emerged as a counter to white racism have now outlasted their message (and necessity) to the point of becoming the racism that they allegedly oppose. That's because they found money and political clout in their existence. They learned from the Negro Leagues that desegregation is bad for business.
And my black friend who has been accepted into the KKK is an author who has written books about that organization.

All you have to do is get a dictionary and see you are wrong. Race-based identity politics is not segregation. Are you really that stupid? You don't dictate when something has outlasted its usefulness. Thats not your level of authority. I doubt you have a friend black or otherwise thats an author. You dont even know what segregation means and you expect me to believe that?

That's all according to your politically selective and draconian definition of segregation. Mine is literal. And just as, if not more, legitimate.
People who segregate themselves and identify in the name of that segregation or pander to and demagogue that segregation are segregationists.

Ole Miss used to display a gigantic Confederate Flag at half time, during their football games. It was big enough to nearly cover the football field with people under it to make it "wave". I'm sure that's long gone.

Did you not see the guy who posted that ANYONE can join the BSU? Which I assume is what you're talking about?

Just like anyone can join the NAACP. But both are still predicated upon segregation. Lots of non-blacks pander to blacks and that politic.

Ah but how many fraternities does the NAACP have that made a joke out of lynching a statue of a white person on a campus?

Their leadership did their damnedest to lynch three Duke students!

Unfortunately. Hate that ******* team though.

If you were half as smart as you think you are, you'd be twice as smart as you actually are.

Cool. I wonder if the United Negro College fund will now be done away with.

The question is totally legit and very specifically pertinent to the topic. The university officially shut down one racist organization while allowing for and most likely condoning another. An inconsistency in policy.
But I don't expect a neo-conservative like yourself to understand that.
Wait until the muslims find out you're making fun of Mohammed in your avatar.

The FRATERNITY shut down the chapter, not the school. *****.

It's about compliance with university codes. Bigot.
Actually, no. *****!

Close 'em all down. What the fuk do fraternities accomplish for college education?

15th post
I'm amused that the cons of the board instantly attempt to bash Democrats and black people in response to the OP. Despite no politics mentioned in the OP whatsoever.

The victim mentality is strong in you cons

I think it has something to do with Ass-syphilis being black, racist, and liberal.....probably votes Democrat.

Frats can organize study groups, provide service to the community, teach kids about history and traditions, provides a safe place to stay, provides a balanced diet, etc.

Course it's also a great place to get beer.:puke::cheers2::smoke::beer::mm::booze::cool:

the article says the fraternity closed down the chapter...not the school
Good point. i totally missed that.

Easy to do. It was only the first word in the headline of the article you linked, the subject of the lead paragraph, and whatnot. Guess your excitement blinded you a bit.
