It's crazy how you can be the best player in the league and not make a lick of difference in your team's ability to make the playoffs. Mike Trout personifies this.

That's why baseball has a star problem... ever since they enjoyed the fame of steroid users and then when exposed pretended to be appalled by them... people don't flock to see baseball stars anymore. However, McGwire or Bonds was must-see TV. That was when baseball was at its best.
