Wrong the basic tenant of Islam is worldwide control and the method to obtain that is either wait to convert everyone or kill nonbelievers. That is in FACT what is taught by both main factions of Islam.

I'm guessing he didn't feel he fit in very well, but third worlders can't adapt to "civilized" society? Of course they can, but it is no easier for them than it would be for you, or me, to adapt to living in his country. Very different.
Anyway, I'm sure the adjustment didn't go well and made him "easy pickins" for a terrorist recruiter.
