I think if someone kills someone, they should all be treated as major crimes. Of course you have different levels of things like Manslaughter and so forth... but I think it is silly to think if a mother is burying their child, that they are going to care if they were killed in a robbery, or killed by someone that lost their marbles.

But that's just my opinion.

You don't get it. I'm an animal lover, but I have no empathy for YOU.

I always find it strange when people have more sympathy for animals than their fellow human beings. Empathy isn't sympathy and it's certainly not agreement. Example, I empathize with peaceful members of the BLM due to discrepancies in police profiling. OTOH, I don't agree with labeling all police for the actions of a few anymore than I agree with labeling all black Americans for the actions of a few gang-bangers.
