Oh, Glühwein, Glühwein....

The Germans make this hot alcoholic drink called "Glühwein". It's a drink of choice close to Christmastide.

Well, I bought a bottle and just warmed me up a large cup of good old Glühwein. If this doesn't get me to sleep, then the only option left will be the frying pan.

So, this is kind of like an ode to Glühwein and also a live blog of how long it takes for me to get plastered (aka, TWD - typing while drunk).

And off to the races...

Sip no. 1:

hot, fruity, you really cannot taste the alcohol until it bites you in the butt in about 20 minutes.

Nice sip.

Sip no. 2:

much larger sip, letting the sweet liquid crawl down my throat, stomach already approving. Thinking of: Long Island Ice Tea meets Hänsel und Gretel.

Better watch out...it might ignite the German hate gene. You may end up gassing yourself!

Sip no. 3: starting to feel warm and worrying that soon I will be making typeos at the keyboard.

Sip no. 4 (well, really, a chug): AhHHHHHHHHHHH, ahhhhhhhhhh!

This is were thinks get plezent.
