He could have been drunk or he might have already been in the middle of his medical issues. Arresting a person is not the answer in either case. It's generally the go to response by the police. We will change that.
Yes, indeed. You go right ahead and be that change you seek. Just have the balls to LIVE in the communities where you bring that change. People who essentially refuse to acknowledge that crime exists and that human nature tends toward EVIL, are like children in some dream and they need to be subjected to the reality that comes from their virtue signaling. There's a REASON that 80+ percent of black folks want MORE policing, not less.
These cops responded to a call about a guy who seemed to be under the influence. Who knows what other threat had been perceived about him. He seemed either completely out of it or possibly so intoxicated he couldn't think rationally. So... how would YOU respond to such a situation? Do you think there are enough sociology/psychology trained interventionists who would go to these calls that cops wouldn't be needed?
The actual outcome of this kind of strategy will be that such calls will simply be IGNORED in future. The people that are harmed will just be collateral damage in your "woke world".
