These people didn't build the city 15 feet below sea level. The city has been there for over 300 years. At one time, the City had a system of levees and sea walls to protect property and the residents of the city. The city survived storms and hurricanes without major flooding for 300 years until Americans started neglecting infrastructure repairs throughout the nation.

Successive Republican Administrations and/or Congresses have refused to maintain the levees and sea walls, and the Army Corps of Engineers has been warning of the deterioration of the levees in New Orleans, since Reagan was president. And NOTHING was ever done, because no American major infrastructure repairs have been funded since before Reagan was elected.

Trump said he loves to build things, but the only thing he tried to build was a useless wall. Bridges, roads, and public buildings continued to deteriorate, and continue to fail. Biden's infrastructure bill is a good start, but red states need to get proper water supplies for southern cities, and not just the white suburbs, See Jackson, Flint Michigan.

We had 80% of our people fully vaxxed by September of 2021, and declared the emergency over in early 2022 - a full 6 months before the emergency ended in the USA.
