Past the spin and hatred of Trump, I think there are some objective positive things happening under this administration. I will list a few, and I know g5000 and candycorn will pull out charts and polls saying things are terrible.
1. Gas prices - It is unquestionably good. The savings yearly are significant. Dems will immediately say presidents can't affect gas prices, but I think we know what gas would cost under democrats.
2. Inflation under control - Dems will say the inflation rate is flat, but again, we can guess what inflation would be under democrats. The investments brought in with tariffs is significantly higher than Biden years. Wages are gaining over inflation.
3. Closed Border - I saw someone float an expert saying illegal immigration is good for the economy, but even Democrats know illegal waves are enormously expensive. Plus, the human smuggling was appalling, let alone the drugs.
4. Fraud crackdown - Can even Democrats say that fraud is a good thing, or that it doesn't exist on a massive scale. Is the argument that it is always there so its ok?
5. Lower Crime - murder rates are at record lows. You think that would happen under democrats?
Prices are still high, yes. Once inflation jacks them up, they don't tend to go down. Imagine what things would cost if gas was still avg 4 bucks a gallon. The Democrats and their communist sponsors are defiant and upset. Mamdani proposed a budget larger than the entire state of Florida, energy costs skyrocketed in Virginia, and even CNN talking heads like Fareed Zakaria are saying blue cities are grossly incompetent. Prices, energy, and crime are steady or improving, and people like Susan Rice are threatening to get revenge on media outlets who don't censor conservatives.
