Seriously though: I've read the speech, it's nice and hopefully it will inspire some kids to work harder and for other kids to stay in school.

Obama has already moved to the political center, not sure what planet you're living on. Besides, this is probably the same speech planned last week. It's up to you to produce a copy that proves otherwise. Speculation is merely that, speculation.

They're being told to stay in school. Then they were asked to write a letter to the President asking how they can help him. Let's see, if we can connect point A to point B, we get to point C. Point C in your case is OMGZ! SOCIALIST! Point C to the sane is he wants kids to write about how they should help the President among others by being smart and staying in school.
