No they certainly don't...If this is marxism then every developed country on earth uses it and has the highest standards of living on earth. It is in reality the exact opposite of "communism" based on marx's/eagles ideas...The idea of taxing the population has been around for at least 10,000 years so if that is communism then it had nothing to do with Karl marx. lol, lol, lol

Anti-trust to demand fairness in the market place for more people to move upwards
regulations and laws demanding workers and consumer rights, etc.

Socialist marxism as it is called(the castro, mao's or stalist mindset) doesn't like democracy or the idea of representation. Most social democracies on the other had have 3 to 5 parties a piece!!!

Marx believed that the wealth should be spread around and owner ship of the resources should be owned by the group.

That idea doesn't work on the larger scale.

Social democracy that has been around since the days of Athens Greece instead uses the government as the referee, while accepting that capitalism should be a important part of society.Thousands of years of trial and error has brought the reality into focus that humanity needs rules and laws to be good.

What you don't get is social democracy isn't one extreme or the other..But it does work!
