The Taxman Cometh —- For Obama’s Enemies​

Investors Business Daily reminds Americans that in 1971, a memo by Nixon White House counsel John Dean described how ”we can use the available federal machinery to screw our political enemies,” even as he warned that ”a low visibility of the project is imperative.” National Review’s Kevin Williams further illuminates the serious nature of these revelations, noting that the “abuse of IRS resources…were cited in the second article of impeachment against Richard Nixon.”

In other words, the Obama administration has another burgeoning scandal on its hands. Yet if one couples the administration’s penchant for political calculation with a media determined to protect Obama and company at all costs, another scandal may be exactly what is needed right now. At the precise moment when the Benghazi atrocity is reaching critical mass, the public is forced to pay attention to yet another seeming abuse of power. As one scandal piles on top of another, including the green energy scandal, and the Fast and Furious gun running scandal, the White House intel leaks, the Benghazi coverup and now an abusive IRS — all of which have engendered stonewalling from the White House, as well as ongoing investigations — a pattern emerges. At this point, however, one can only hope the public has not reached “information overload” and is not tuning events out on account of so much malfeasance occurring in such rapid succession.

One can rest assured, the Obama administration is counting on this public uninterestedness. Obviously, such cynical calculations would have to be based on an almost unprecedented level of contempt for the public by the administration and its media water-carriers. There is little doubt that both the administration and the left-wing media establishment are more than up to the task.

Fort Hood, Benghazi, the Boston bombings, Iran/Syria, Israel. The pattern is unmistakeable; the danger to America is exponentially increasing; the scandal is deepening into something nearer to a national crisis.

The Obama administration is playing down the Islamist threat to the US and the free world, empowering Islamists at home and abroad, endangering America and betraying its allies — and covering up its egregious failure to protect the homeland as a result of all the above, while instead blaming America for its own victimisation.

Precisely.

The Benghazi attack was not just appalling in itself; nor was there merely almost certainly a catastrophic failure by the Obama administration to protect its people, and then a mighty cover-up of that failure. Benghazi also serves as a symbol of America’s tragic abandonment, under the Obama administration, of its historic mission to protect life and liberty both in its own homeland and in the free world.

Obama Lies America Into Another War

Intervention in support of the Islamist militias in Syria is nothing more than a Christian ethnic cleansing project. And those supporting it should be treated like any other advocates of ethnic cleansing.

Obama’s intervention in Libya turned Benghazi over to Islamist militias who have persecuted Christians. His intervention in Syria will ethnically cleanse Christians while rewarding the Muslim Brotherhood with another building block for their caliphate plans.

The Syrian War, like the Libyan War, is built on a pyramid of lies. There are no good options in Syria and nothing we do will help anyone there.

Despite the belated declaration that the Syrian government had breached a Red Line by using chemical weapons, the evidence points to chemical weapons use by both sides.

First off, I don't buy into him "lying us into another war". Secondly, I don't see any evidence that we will do anything other than provide some arms to the rebels, so we are not getting dragged into another war. I do agree though, that we should just stay completely out of it and let them fight their own war.

A new poll by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal reveals that public perceptions about race relations in America have taken a devastating hit since the election of Barack Obama. At the beginning of the president’s first term, 79 percent of whites and 63 percent of blacks had a positive view of American race relations. Those numbers have plummeted to 52 percent and 38 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, 45 percent of whites now consider race relations fairly or very bad, compared with 20 percent in 2009, and the negative views held by black Americans has jumped from 30 percent to 58 percent. Thus, the idea that the election of Barack Obama would usher in a golden age of so-called post-racial relations has exploded. And the president and his administration bear the lion’s share of the responsibility for lighting the fuse.

Obama Appoints Hamas Supporter who Called Israelis Nazis to Commission on Religious Freedom

James Zogby called Hezbollah “the Lebanese armed resistance”, defended Hamas supporters and urging understanding Hamas. He was less understanding toward Jews calling Israelis “Nazis” and accusing Israel of perpetrating a Holocaust against the PLO.

A vehement opponent of freedom of speech, Zogby took the Islamist side of the Mohammed cartoon controversy, writing, “To declare, as some have, that such freedom is absolute is, of course, nonsense since every culture, by definition, has its taboos. The measure of a civilization is not the freedom it provides to defile taboos, but how respectful and sensitive it is to the taboos of diverse cultures, especially those within its midst.”

Zogby then implied that cartoons that offend Muslims should be banned.

Obama’s ‘Stable’ New World: A Middle East In Flames

Presumably, the reference to American exceptionalism, a notion which Obama himself has pooh-poohed in the past, was meant as a rebuke to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent New York Times op-ed column in which Putin had offered his critique of this idea.

President Obama concluded his speech on a note of hope for the future. He invoked the spirit of the Declaration of Independence when he said “We are ready to meet tomorrow’s challenges with you – firm in the belief that all men and women are in fact created equal, each individual possessed with a dignity that cannot be denied.” However, in typical Obama fashion, he omitted the part that all “are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights.”

Elderly Veterans Feel Obama’s Wrath

President Obama’s Machiavellian drive to hurt and irritate Americans to win the budget fight kicked into high gear this week as jackbooted police refused to allow World War II veterans to make a pilgrimage to the open-air Washington, D.C., memorial that was created to honor them.

As a whiff of fascism blows through the nation’s capital, the president is demonstrating to the whole world how revoltingly out-of-control the hyper-bloated U.S. government is. Obama is doing petty, irritating things like needlessly shutting down national parks in order to rankle voters in the hope they’ll blame Republicans for the ongoing government shutdown. Liberals, in typical fashion, predict apocalypse because of the shutdown. In reality, Americans are barely noticing that Uncle Sam is taking a nap.

There may, however, be some cause for optimism.

Yesterday Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus offered to have the RNC pay all costs associated with keeping the memorial open.

It was a move of unusual courage and brilliance for the RNC and it may signal that the GOP’s resolve to dig in and fight against the horrendous, nation-destroying program that is Obamacare is stiffening.

I'm not sure Obama's poisoning of the well by calling everyone who disagreed with so much as one detail of his master plan to reward do-nothings with half the salaries of working people was such a good idea. More people have purchased fire power for their family's protection in case his hard work to get everything he wants the easy way--poisoning the well of race relations--and making black people mad as hell about things that took place over a century ago and half again. The real nutcases are shooting it up and running over people, making their victims' families and friends afraid of what could be soon on the front burner of a full-blown racial war.

I'm just not buying into the racial bit, but I know people are discouraged who as conservatives fought family and neighbor to ensure that black children got good educations and fair circumstances are now being discriminated again in every quarter with rancor against them for being born white.

I'm sorry to be less trusting of blacks, but with Democrats claiming that over 90% of blacks have turned against Republicans, I'm astonished at how they could disregard the 125 years we had to actually fight Democrats tooth and nail for every right, every amendment, and the establishment in Arkansas to enable blacks to an equal opportunity in education.

It's sad to be betrayed by a liar who is so gifted at lying he could hand the Democrats the kind of control over other people's life that has been their quest, flying in the face of other people's right to the pursuit of happiness, and ensuring it will be taken away from not only them, but their families, too, while they pile up money offshore for themselves.
