Congress is cutting many items from our VA, not Obama
Wrong. The Obama admin is proposing the cuts - Congress can either approve/disapprove his proposal.
Are you seriously this ******* dense?

Wasn't he the one dressed as a ninja?![]()
Naw..he was the one they call, "Commander-in-Chief".
Check your Constitution out. It's a doozy.
Apparently this is supposed to sideline the OBVIOUS which is the Military Hater in Chief is now cutting the healthcare of those brave souls that risked their lives to GET Bin Ladin while Obama spent years railing against the Bush policies that really did the job.

As commander in chief, obama has the power of dictator over the military. He can completely take away any benefits if he so chooses. Using his absolute power he has denied medical care to the battle wounded leaving them to die.
This is just a taste of what he would do to all of us.

they are not classes you ******* tampon. they are young men and women doing would you are not willing to do and in return their contract says that they and their families get health care. now you want to re nig on that contract?
Can you show me where in the contract it states this? During Reagan you were lucky to get an asprin
you want the contract asshole go look it up. I was raised military and we got health care.

What exactly are you upset about? Please explain.
Because if what you are saying is true, (which I have serious doubts about), are you upset that people are being moved off of government healthcare and on to private healthcare?
Isn't that what happens in your ideal fantasy world, private business over government reliance?
Can you show me where in the contract it states this? During Reagan you were lucky to get an asprin
You are so full of ******* horseshit. The years I served, under Reagan, were the best I ever served. We got anything we asked for, vs. the failed Carter and Clinton years. They gutted our military and cut $$$, just like the current Asswipe In Chief is doing.
And it is in the contract - look it up yourself
Better yet - see a recruiter and enlist.
We need the cannon fodder.
PolitiFact | Rick Santorum says President Barack Obama wants to cut veteransRick Santorum says President Barack Obama wants to cut veterans’ benefits
Obama’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2012 increases the overall Veterans Affairs budget by more than 10 percent. The numbers are big: from $53 billion in FY 2010 to almost $59 billion in FY 2012.
A “benefit” under an enlistment contract refers to an entitlement that is offered to all enlistees which includes the GI Bill, military medical, and amount of base pay.16 These are standardized terms which are not on the table for negotiation and they are actually not included in the enlistment contract.
Statists loathe the military, they always have. They fool no one.
Remember when liberals claimed Bush cut benefits for Veterans? Let's see if they even raise an eyelash over this. REAL cuts to our military, and all designed to force the military to be dependent on Obamacare.
Nooooooooooo, Obama isn't a socialist. Nooooooooooooo, of course not.
Time to send this out of control dictator back to Chicago. November 2012 is coming!
Oh liberals will love this one. They hate the military.
What gets me is, the same liberals who railed against Bush supposedly cutting veterans benefits will turn a blind eye to this.
They only rail against ANYTHING when they think it's advantages them politically.

umm I derided Bush attempting to cut military benefits because he claimed to support the troops so well.
That old hypocrisy thing.
And yes I do not like the military because I was drafted into Nam. I was not the son of a congressman so I could not get into the national guard or decline going to nam.
The Obama administrationÂ’s proposed defense budget calls for military families and retirees to pay sharply more for their healthcare, while leaving unionized civilian defense workersÂ’ benefits untouched. The proposal is causing a major rift within the Pentagon, according to U.S. officials. Several congressional aides suggested the move is designed to increase the enrollment in ObamacareÂ’s state-run insurance exchanges.
The disparity in treatment between civilian and uniformed personnel is causing a backlash within the military that could undermine recruitment and retention.
The proposed increases in health care payments by service members, which must be approved by Congress, are part of the PentagonÂ’s $487 billion cut in spending. It seeks to save $1.8 billion from the Tricare medical system in the fiscal 2013 budget, and $12.9 billion by 2017.
Many in Congress are opposing the proposed changes, which would require the passage of new legislation before being put in place.
“We shouldn’t ask our military to pay our bills when we aren’t willing to impose a similar hardship on the rest of the population,” Rep. Howard “Buck” McKeon, chairman of the House Armed Services Committee and a Republican from California, said in a statement to the Washington Free Beacon. “We can’t keep asking those who have given so much to give that much more.”

The constitution says nothing about medical care for life for veterans.
You people make me want to throw up
The United States of America is the only industriali ed country in the world where more than 500 companies make profits off of sick people and you want to keep it that way. Even after all that we rank 37th in the world when general health and longevity is studied. Please get your heads out of the center of your buttocks.

I had two contracts during my military career, now show me the contract where it stipulates free healthcare. Or be a shallow name calling person and denegrate yourself with your own baseness

The constitution says nothing about medical care for life for veterans.
It also says nothing about medical care for life for previous Presidents or previous Congressmen. I really think we need to cut that out, too.
