Raising intelligence would be the obvious solution, but then it's tough to get people to learn when they think they already know everything.

What Democracy? America is a Republic.

And the President does not have the power to either make or abolish laws.

Obama campaigned on elimination of the Patriot Act--that's what you guys wanted--and he renewed the Patriot Act when it came up for a vote--and he signed off on it.
