Wrong as usual any action that the President takes with a foreign Government that requires something from the US is a treaty.Without the Senate the treaty does not become law, without an act of both houses in Congress the stipulated green house levels can not be enforced on American business.like I SAID IN REALITY....So you claim Obama is not a tyrant then turn right around and claim he can enact laws and legislation with EO. You are beyond stupid.
THE FOLKS SHOW CASING STUPIDTY HERE ARE YOU .
agree, except that it isn't a treaty, it's a deal the President signed. It's pretty much the equivalent of an Executive Order in the foreign policy arena. No where will you see the word "treaty" in the agreement.
normally yes, but not in this case. The President was very careful about not using the word "treaty". He consistently used the term "deal". This is semantics, but it is way for him to force the hand of the incoming Congress. Regardless of its enforcement capability, he just called the bluff on the GOP.

He called America's bluff and America responded. But when you look at the number of immediate, intense issues we face now, and the fact that the response we sent was to counter our own President's actions, our biggest hurdle is going to be stopping Obama from doing any more damage, while fixing the damage that has been done, and dealing with foreign wars, while rebuilding this country's wealth, and that is a tall order for a few elected politicians.
We were strong enough as a people to send a message and make a change happen. We need to retain that status. We have to stop playing politics. We have to lay down the swords that defend party lines, and unite as Americans not willing to accept the direction we are being taken. Thank God for a Constitution that is all about us. Insist on knowing what Washington is doing.
