LMAOff!!!From Huffo and in aisle 7 at Walmart where they buy stretchy pants.
Thanks for the chuckle!
You guys have GOT to be kidding right!? Surely no one knows that little about our Constitution who would show up on a forum arguing about it.No it doesn't.
Can Muslims in the U.S. stone their women?
Alright then.
Is forcing churches to violate their tennants on birth control the same as forcing muslims to not stone their women in your mind?
To not let devout Muslims who believe in the old ways stone their uppity women would be "prohibiting the free exercise thereof", would it not?
5th Amendment to the US Constitution is titled, Trial and Punishment, Compensation for Takings. It says, "No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."
That does NOT mean Sharia law. It means the law of the land, US law!
FOR CRIPES SAKES FOLKS...PLEASE...read and understand the damn Constitution before it is too late. You are being lead to destruction by your progressive handlers!
Once you do...try The Federalist Papers next to answer all those questions you WILL have. They will explain why the founders did and believed what they did.
Or a book called The Original Argument, published under Glenn Beck's name...I know, but put the petty partisanship aside because it was actually written by a group of law school students. Beck just lent his name to get it published.
It is the Federalist Papers written in plain english. You know, for those with ADD that can't wade through the original document's formal colonial language. ;~)
