I am not so sure. Bammy is not anything if not politically astute and he is a good read on people. I find it hard to believe he felt good about Harris being able to beat Trump unless he too seriously underestimated him! Also at that time last year, I think whoever the democrats had run and won with, I think Obumma would have still been the pin man behind the ball.

I get the feeling Biden set them all up and screwed the pooch endorsing Kammy before anyone had any chance of looking at anyone else, and that pretty much locked them in place. Biden felt that her supporting HIS policies no matter what, win or lose, was more important than whether she won.
