It seems Obama asked Abbas on Sunday not to go ahead with the statehood bid on Nov. 29th. Abbas ignored him. Let's hope something good will come of all this.
Hamas firing rockets into Israel assures a re-election of Netanyahu, so I don't know what Hamas expects to gain from these actions.
