Oh please. There was no 'mistake'. The cop was a racist and deliberately arrested innocent blacks. He admits it. The only question is the length of his sentence, which I feel is not sufficiently long.

I remember the "bad old days" of New York. The NYPD has come a very long way from that and is one of the best police forces in the world. And it's extremely diverse as well. I've seen police of all ethnicities and races.

I remember the "bad old days" of New York. The NYPD has come a very long way from that and is one of the best police forces in the world. And it's extremely diverse as well. I've seen police of all ethnicities and races.

I'm not just talking about NYC, I'm talking country wide, there was a cop in Chicago who did it for decades and even put innocent black men away in prison.

We love to imagine that our Police Forces are like Sheriff Andy Taylor of Mayberry but they're not. Those days are long gone and guess what?
