All I know is, when Arizona tried to enforce Federal immigration laws, Obama sued them and stopped them and won.

But when Trump tells states to help them enforce federal laws, they don't have to do so.

The big point in this story is that Mr. Murdoch is the owner of the Post.

As we all know, his FOX cable channel has started to withdraw its support of President Trump, so I assume that the Post editorial is the final break.

Whether President Trump should abandon his efforts to overturn election results is a matter where reasonable people can disagree. Whether his "campaign" to expose wrongdoing and overturn certain results will impact the Georgia Senate run-off is nothing but empty speculation. Why would anyone voting in that election even consider the unrelated legal efforts of the incumbent President?

Even if he fails, the challenge to the irregularities of this election have value. If the Democrats try to pull this shit again in 2022, there will be an armed insurrection. The more shenanigans Trump exposes now, the more likely the voters will demand an honest election next time - one would hope. And the legislatures - mostly Republican - will be more aggressive in defining fraud-resistant procedures.

It's not up to local municipalities to enforce immigration laws or even be forced to work with the federal government on immigration. I'm not sure what this has to do with rage hating a fair and free election but you do you. It's just a tad off topic.

You're pretty much saying you don't care what the results of an election are, you'll just ignore it (not that it matters) so why even pretend there is election fraud?

If they're not legally required to and its in their best interests, sure. But if you think the federal government has the right to force local governments to become immigration officers free of charge then I'd understand them not wanting to play.

All I know is, when Arizona tried to enforce Federal immigration laws, Obama sued them and stopped them and won.

But when Trump tells states to help them enforce federal laws, they don't have to do so.

Correct. Trump doesn't get to write state laws he can't force for example a state government to require it to verify the citizenship status of a drivers license applicant. Or for police to randomly stop brown people on the street to show papers.

Trouble is, I could care less about the legal reasons why this hypocritical double standards are allowed to continue to exist. I literally could care less what the black robe reasoning is.

The big point in this story is that Mr. Murdoch is the owner of the Post.

So it is not crazy to think that he ordered the anti-Trump editorial.

As we all know, his FOX cable channel has started to withdraw its support of President Trump, so I assume that the Post editorial is the final break.

As a Trump voter twice, I feel so sorry for him. All the rodents are now jumping the sinking SS Trump and swimming toward the gleaming SS Biden.

And there are many Americans who are salivating at the thought that state attorneys general are waiting to indict him on various charges. Of course, he will get a fair trial in New York City or Baltimore or Philadelphia, or Atlanta or ...!

Now I understand why Russia's Putin got a law passed to give him total immunity from his enemies when he is forced to step down.
