I think Nvidia was destined to go down for either one of two reasons.

First, AI is not living up to its hype. I certainly haven't been impressed by it. For people like you and me, ChatGPT and all its variations, are basically a copy and paste machine. Though it has been doing some amazing things in the medical field.

Second, I don't know how long Nvidia can maintain its virtual monopoly on the AI chip market. Someone is going to see that goldmine and try to break in and compete. The fact Nvidia has just been served an anti-trust shot across the bow from the Justice Department backs this up.

I would proceed with caution.

The markets which are taking off right now are copper, nickel, lithium and the other minerals which go into electric car batteries.

Cryptocurrency and much of the stock market is hit hard this week

I bought amd at 151 a share it’s now 134. I now have a stop loss in there at 118. I simply cannot predict the future here I had a stock friend Tell me that it’s a good purchase, he bought a bunch of AMD. He said there’s going to be a melt up in the stock market. Now things are looking rough.

I’m down a sizable amount in cryptocurrency and my stocks in the past three weeks or so. I’m glad that most of my funds are in a CD account which is safe. Still this is upsetting.

You get the feeling that on the investing streets there is a negative perception of Harris. I mean her idea of having a tax on unrealized gains for people worth over 100 million is very destructive. It’s gonna have a trickle down effect down the entire market. Plus she’s woke which is a disaster. Remember Budweiser and target going woke and then their stocks tanking. We’ll see that in the whole market if Harris gets elected. Hope I’m wrong if she does get elected. But she’s even more woke compared to Biden.

I’m not sure what I’m going to do with my S&P 500 index fund. I sold my S&P 500 index fund about two months ago only to buy it again recently and it’s not doing good. I just don’t wanna lose 20% on that index fund in the next 6 months. And I have a bad feeling that may happen.
