International treaties and accords have happened in the past, including for nuclear disarmament. There is an international framework. That likely is not well-known at the Kim government or the Trump government, meeting in Singapore. US tariffs on Canadian imports, for example, tend to be slightly higher on average, than US tariffs on Canadian imports. The suggestion that USA merely intends to rob more cookie jars for itself now emerges post G7/Larry Kudlow. North Korea is a complete unknown about mostly everything.

Not sure about that.

Nuclear treaties always seem like something that goes into the twilight zone where government involvement meets science. In this “zone”, we have 60+ y/o men and women trying to decide the validity of scientific matters that were likely not invented when they were in college.Much like the Senate questioning Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook when he was talking about servers and cookies; most were probably thinking about Jeeves at their country club in the 19th hole. They get testimony, to be sure, on how long it would take to develop the weapons, the basic tenants, and make their decision (hopefully) to ratify or not based on them. Meanwhile, not to insult them, polls are taken to see about public support for the treaty as if the average voter understands any of the technological, multi-level political, logistical ramifications of a treaty like this.

Lets not mention the wonderful plan Obummer had with Iran. Only took Iran less then a month to fire those centrifuges up. And they where delighted to take our cash. To bad most American banks didnt want them in our system.

Everybody else stayed in the Iran deal. Everybody else knows nothing about North Korea. Everybody else had contacts with Iran. Mainly, China may even be paying for the North Korean Hotel Bill. China provided the plane.

That even brings up the famous media concept, "Fantasy Island," right there on Singapore!
