NPR sues Trump over executive order cutting federal funding

But don't feel Biden was an "existential threat" to the continued life of the Republic.

Your credibility is gone dude, just stop.
Biden did not pardon the J6 rioters, was not under multiple indictments that would have gone to trial had he not won, and did not blather about unconstitutionally running for a third term.

Thank you. I agree thats grade A BS as well.

I've seen it. It's a poor understanding of the actual issue and not the topic of this thread.

Oh no, its a GREAT understanding of the ACTUAL ISSUE.

The ACTUAL ISSUE is if POTUS can appropriate funds not appropriated by congress, or if he can withhold them. Biden did it, now Trump is doing the opposite.

First of all, it's complicated because student loan forgiveness isn't really an appropriation. The money was already spent when the student loans went out. Biden was trying to get the loans forgiven.

Second, Congress had passed numerous ways for the government to forgive student loans, including and especially public service loan forgiveness programs. Biden had numerous ways to achieve the same goal, even if SCOTUS said he couldn't use one way, he could still attempt to go about it in other ways.

You probably don't know any of this because you're not really well informed by right wing media.

Becuase those funds have already been allocated by Congress, and there is a post Nixon Federal Law that makes it illegal.
I'm pretty sure the qualifications to receive the federal money had stipulations of
not being a mouth piece for one side or another on the spectrum.

If they are a non profit organization they certainly can't be political, Zinc.
Technically - agreed. We both know lots of entities that are, and are still nonprofits. I just don't know the details of their funding.

Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. Contributions to political campaign funds or public statements of position (verbal or written) made on behalf of the organization in favor of or in opposition to any candidate for public office clearly violate the prohibition against political campaign activity. Violating this prohibition may result in denial or revocation of tax-exempt status and the imposition of certain excise taxes.

FUNNY THING is that most of those who are complaining NEVER turn their radio to NPR.
One day heard them spend 30 min explaining, tax dollars & insurance co in regard to national disasters.
Something had never heard of before.
We do not believe every thing we hear, from any one. There is always two sides to every story.
Trying too be open minded helps with getting a better information.
