NPR Still Hasn't Learned Its Lesson

How on earth did these hospitals operate prior to 2010 and the 0bama Medicaid giveaway?

Same question. What did rural schools do before universal free-lunch SNAP funding by 0bama in 2010. Prior to that, eligibility was individually means tested.

This is a systemic problem that goes back years. Has zero to do with Trump.
Except he now runs the system...right? Here is where you start with your “deep state” nonsense.

Mashmont and Rawley seem confused.

NPR will survive. Many rural hospitals will fail because of Trumpism.
Rural radio stations will too. WNYC, KQED, KUHF, WGBH, WBEZ, have a listener base that will step up somewhat. KUNR in Reno (I have a relative who works there) is essentially waiting for the axe to fall. The funny thing is that if you look at the KUNR homepage, you see almost 100% local coverage; nothing about the government shutdown or our piracy.

I love that leftwingers are having to foot the bill.
and I love that rural radio stations in red areas will be going tits up in droves at the end of the year. Screw all them freeloaders in alaska and WV that don't even do politics. Let them enjoy the sound of silence instead of country/gospel music and emergency alerts.

NPR plays country/gospel music?

I had to click Dekster off of IGNORE to read his post on NPR playing country and gospel music and emergency alerts.

Out of curiosity, I would tune in Lefty stations to hear what they had to say. It was stunningly consistent, filled with vitriol and bias as the DNC. Zero country and gospel music, zero emergency alerts. Nobody needs a radio announcer to tell them there is an emergency nearby, and if it isn't near you, there is no need to worry about it.
