The problem as I'm looking at it is that anyone can back up anything w/ logic --an elaborate logic system contrived w/ unending arguments. It's how someone can "logically" defend flat earth theory, anthroprogenic global warming, etc. How we draw the line is when we stop to decide whether we're accepting reality on its own terms --whether we're willing to set aside out ideology & go w/ what we can actually see.

Somehow very few folks are willing to make this step; they're simply not willing to say "I don't know because the evidence can point either way."
