This is great news. We also have a private mining company wanting to go after the resources!!! What we need and the bill just passed will help with that is to build a strong economic case and infrastructure in space.

Blue Origin Beats SpaceX In Race To Land Reusable Rocket

In the test, Blue Origin — a private space firm backed by billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos — launched their New Shepard spaceship 62 miles above the Earth before disconnecting it from the BE-3 rocket which carried it there.

More interestingly, the reusable BE-3 rocket made its own descent, eventually landing safely on a platform in the the desert of West Texas — securing Blue Origin’s position in the annals of private space exploration history.

In other news, NASA recently ordered its first manned mission from SpaceX to ferry astronauts to the International Space Station.

So Obama mothballs the aging and unsafe shuttles and NASA begins working with private companies to develop other methods of getting into orbit and Republicans who hate everything Obama does no matter what it is go into a tailspin of hate that he ruined NASA. For some reason, they insist on making themselves look to the world like the most racist and dirty party in history. And they want to be the party that leads the world? Can you believe it? People don't like them because they are scared of the GOP.
