A long while back I read an article in which the author, supposedly an expert, said that there is always a spider within six feet of us. He used that to illustrate the huge numbers of spiders we share our space with.
And here's a funny bit about spiders. My girlfriend and I rented a rustic cabin near Aspen, for a week. We drank well water, I chopped wood for the stove, etc.
My girl woke me up very early, after our first night's sleep. There were Daddy Long Legs spiders all over the place, especially on the bed and headboard.
I don't mind spiders but my girl was a bit uncomfortable with them.
We had a great week riding horses, exploring ghost towns, etc,. So our long-legged friends didn't cause any real problems. Lol.
