U.S. President Donald Trump (a capitalism-baron and former casino-mogul) has the odious responsibility of coordinating modern capitalism with progressive geopolitical stances regarding the European Union, China, North Korea, and Hong Kong.

You start to wonder if Trump fantasizes about escaping his responsibilities and seeking shelter in a politically neutral 'safe-zone' such a Scandinavian nation.

Scandinavia has always been comparatively neutral when compared to other parts of the world. Even the Vikings of earlier times never got 'tangled' in the hair of complicated long-term political trysts (e.g., United Nations oriented thinking).

Well, Norway is the western end of Scandinavia, so perhaps President Trump imagines he'll escape there and do some light fishing and skiing and avoid the messy problems of modern globalization (e.g., North Korea)!

"Diary Entry --- January 2, 2018:

I had a dream last night that I got on a celebrity cruise boat endorsing my Presidential administration, sponsored by Hollywood movie-star Tom Cruise. The boat crashed off the coast of Scandinavia after ramming into a strange glacier that floated by (no doubt a 'relic' of global warming anarchy!) and I managed to survive. I crawled out and disappeared into the Norwegian crowds, hoping to never be found again or deal with the media humiliation of being part of a media-cruise debacle!

(Still dreaming) I lived in Norway for three years, pretending to be a fisherman and even collecting fisherman-wages, working for a fishing company collecting sea-food for various food distributors/exporters. I developed a great love of catfish and crab, and I even developed unique recipes for catfish-and-crab chowder. I imagined I was like Robert Shaw from the iconic film Jaws, living like a 'wild-man of the seas.' Capitalism fretted me not one iota, and I was truly content. I was even visited by the spirit of an esoteric Norwegian 'glass-knight' who told me that fishing in Scandinavia cleared the soul and reminded a human being of simple values.

When I woke from the dream, I shuffled into the shower and got ready for the day's work. At my office-desk, I answered about ten phone calls, and two were from Hong Kong and South Korea. I started developing a joint-venture commerce plan treaty involving Samsung electronics deals between America and China which would involve the business of Hong Kong City and Seoul. By noon, my day was swamped with commerce-related work before I got a very serious phone call from Greenpeace. It was then that I stepped back, pulled out my Fantastic Four (Marvel Comics) comic book and began daydreaming(!) about my 'escapism dream' of living as a fisherman in Norway. God bless Norway (and America)!"
