"It just doesn't seem right that you can be forced off the road when you're not doing anything wrong," said Kim Cope, who said she was on her lunch break when she was forced to pull over at the roadblock on Beach Street in North Fort Worth.

Wrong on so many levels...

Remember this is the Feds, not the state of Texas. The article says the TX cops were apologizing to motorists.

I don't know what's worse- this action or the gullible motorists that submitted to such bullshit.

These same roadblocks are being conducted in Broward County Florida too.
Same survey and they are giving the impression that they are voluntary, Voluntary???? Bullshit, you cannot just drive away, you have to stop and answer their questions, if it was voluntary, they would just sit they and wait for the volunteers to drive on in. The funny thing, one of these roadblocks was conducted at 9:00 on a Wednesday morning? How many drunks did they really expect to catch at that time of day?

Voluntary? I would have said "No thank you."
Would have been too late, you were already tested, as per the article:

He also noted the fine print on a form given to drivers informs them their breath was tested by "passive alcohol sensor readings before the consent process has been completed."
"They're essentially lying to you when they say it's completely voluntary, because they're testing you at that moment,"
Colosi said.

Cops can get all your driver's info now by pointing a detector that will read your license plate. The info comes up in seconds. There are monitors on the highways all over America checking your speed. They can see you in real time. They now have retina scans they plan to start using on children to "protect them". The NSA has access to everything you do on the internet. The IRS will soon have access to your entire medical history. Satellites can take ariel pictures of your house clear enough to see if you have cut your grass lately. The Feds are getting ready to start flying drones across America to "Protect us".

The Mexican border is more open than Madonna's gaping gash.

Nothing to see here. George Orwell wrote fiction.

No. That is not what the article said. You had to volunteer the samples.

Read it again, this time the whole article. that is exactly what the article said:
"You can't just be pulled over randomly or for no reason," said attorney Frank Colosi.
He also noted the fine print on a form given to drivers informs them their breath was tested by "passive alcohol sensor readings before the consent process has been completed."
"They're essentially lying to you when they say it's completely voluntary, because they're testing you at that moment," Colosi said.

Doesn't seem so voluntary to me. I suspect this is just another incursion into our freedom of movement and intended to further desensitize us to abusive government overreaches of similar nature.

They're happening everywhere. Every pig involved should drug into a ditch and shot. The goons in the federal government who came up with this disgusting exercise should also be summarily put to death.
