North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper vetoed a sweeping Republican elections bill Thursday that would end a grace period for voting by mail and make new allowances for partisan poll observers.
“They’re making it harder for you to vote, hoping that you won’t bother,” he said, urging North Carolinians to contact their representatives and demand they uphold his veto.

Well if it were any other state than North Carolina, perhaps I would believe that this bill had some purpose other than to rig the election for the GOP. I swear it seems like there isn't an election in North Carolina that goes by where there isn't a case going to the supreme court. The democrats there are just as bad when they are in control of the legislature.

I thought State Legislature Representatives were in charge of deciding on election details, not the State Governor or State Courts.
