Let's put some reality into this.
Taqiyya: This allows all Muslims to "lie" to "infidels/non-believers," to protect the religion.
When you encounter Muslims who have no problem speaking the truth, you will hear that they are a "conquering religion, not a passive one."
The Quran instructs them to literally "kill all non-believers" wherever they find them.
It does allow Muslims to enter into "deals" with infidels for periods of time, but only so long as it benefits the Muslims, and such deals must be periodically reviewed to re-evaluate such arrangements.
Personally, I think that those to instructions are a bit counter to one another, but hey, it's a religion, what can we say.
