Nordstrom closed the doors of its five-story department store in San Francisco on Sunday, ending a 35-year run as the city suffers a retail exodus.

The retailer saying that the “dynamics of the downtown San Francisco market have changed dramatically over the past several years, impacting customer foot traffic to our stores and our ability to operate successfully.”

A nearby Nordstrom Rack closed last month.

Wow, this sounds unfair to looters, how will they feed their families. With the price of gas in California, how will they be able to travel to neighboring towns.

Sounds awfully racist of Nordstrom, deciding to move out of an area with high looting.

Walmart has recently closed stores in Chicago, Washington and Pittsburgh due to high losses as well and has been skewered.

Well of course the market in the area changes making keeping a nice big and fancy store open when the surrounding city is full of blacks and illegal criminals and dopeheads.

It's a shame nice places soon will only exist in richer areas. And those areas are richer because they are predominantly people who aren't criminals, have jobs, aren't dopeheads and also whites or Asians.

You'd think at some point someone would sit down and look at the types of people that are ruining our country and say "we need to get rid of those people because they are making everything worse."

They got hit with a one two punch. First they locked down the city due to the pandemic and forced people to work from home, followed by progressive soft on crime anti-police policies which dealt the final blow.

When you geld your police and make law that benefits criminals that is what happens.

Take the liberal NOtVA area outside of DC.....One of the richest areas in the country and they fully fund their PDs and have law and order type laws.

lots of blacks and Hispanics there too but they tend to stay in their lanes and when they get popped for a crime they do time.

It's no accident that you can drive 1700' over the Key Bridge out of DC and into Virginia and the crime rate drops by better than four-fold.
