Welfare offices and other agencies in 49 US states are providing voter registration forms to migrants without requiring proof of citizenship, leading Republicans and conservatives to call for swift federal action to stop the handouts.

Every state but Arizona — which recently passed a law barring the practice on state but not federal forms — gives applicants for either welfare benefits, driver’s licenses, or in some cases, mail-in ballots voter registration forms without demanding proof of citizenship.

There is currently no requirement on federal voting forms to provide proof of US citizenship, though it is illegal to falsely claim one is a citizen or for a non-citizen to cast a ballot in a federal election.

But millions of migrants with humanitarian parole, refugee or asylum status are eligible for benefits that would bring them to the offices where voter registration takes place

The National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) of 1993 ordered states to register voters at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and agencies where Americans apply for public benefits — and those offices are required by federal law to hand over the registration forms along with the application papers.

BS. There is nothing on any ballot tying it to any name. The outside of the envelope only is traceable to a name. Before opening, they make an image scan. Supposedly they verify the Signature on the outside of envelope matches the registered name. IF they check it lol!

The one ballot would not be in the envelope if it did not match. You can’t trace any ballot to any name. Can’t have filthy DEMs making a hit list.

Some states use an inner envelope or secrecy sleeve. AZ does not. Read up, educate yourself. Even CA or Illinoise say similar.

IS VOTING BY MAIL SECURE?​

The infrastructure of the voting by mail system is already well established in Arizona. Approximately 80% of Arizona voters chose to vote by mail.
It’s important to note that a voter’s identity is confirmed before their ballot is counted, whether it’s an early ballot or a ballot cast at the polls. When you vote by mail, your signature on the early ballot affidavit is compared to the signature on file with your voter registration record. Voters must sign this envelope in order for their ballot to be counted. County election staff receive professional training to verify the signature on the affidavit envelope matches the signature on the voters' registration record. This is done to ensure the integrity of the early voting process.
If the signature is a match, the ballot proceeds to the Citizens Boards who then prepare the unopened ballots for tabulation. The Citizens Boards are made up of two board members of different political party affiliations. They confirm that the County Recorder verified the voter’s signature and then they remove the ballot from the envelope, taking special care to ensure the privacy of the voters' ballot. The ballots are then transmitted to the tabulation room.
If the county is unable to verify the signature, the county will attempt to contact the voter. Voters have until 5:00 p.m. on the 5th business day after the primary or general election to confirm/correct their signature.

How does the elections department process my ballot securely?

After you return your voted ballot:

• Your signature on the outer return envelope is checked against the signature on file in your voter registration record.
• If your signature matches then you are credited for voting. This ensures that only one ballot from each voter is counted.
• The outer return envelope, which identifies you, is separated from the inner security sleeve, which contains your voted ballot. Once separated, your ballot cannot be traced back to you, therefore your vote remains a secret.

They flood them out to any name they can get onto the corrupted voter rolls. Anything goes, nobody can check millions. They are checked by “registration” worker.

If you are registered to vote in Washington, there is no need to request a ballot. Confirm your registration at VoteWA.gov.
