Is that worse than including the 600,000 lost government jobs, as conservatives do, when in fact conservatives are GLAD to see those jobs lost?

I know for a FACT there is ONLY ONE direct way that Obama or any President can have effect the price of gas.
It is called increasing the supply of oil.
The direct action any president can take on increasing or decreasing the oil supply is the signing or not signing of Federal oil leases.
That is the ONLY direct executive action that can affect the supply of oil which if the supply goes up prices go down.
FACT:
But total federal oil production is still 316,800 barrels per day below 2010 levels of 1,975,100 barrels per day.
The energy industry and federal lawmakers have long criticized the Obama administration for saddling energy producers with lengthy permitting times and environmental review processes.

one leases are signed take 6 months to do the permitting!
