Whether or not they are allowed to stay is a matter of policy, so it expired because the President said it did.

Get your facts straight. They came here illegally and then Biden, who could not legally grant them asylum, gave them temporary protected status to shield them from US law which said they must be deported, but he granted TPS on such broad grounds that the entire population of Venezuela would have qualified for it. Canceling Biden's TPS was one step President Trump took in returning sanity to US immigration policy.

No, it's true. TPS allowed them t stay here and work, but if they had arrived as legal documented immigrants they would already have had those rights.
