either we and the Ukranians embrace the talks, or we must start fully supporting Ukraine for a quick overall victory..
since the Ukranians probably won't contemplate talks, we'll have to up the military gifts to Ukraine significantly (to not get stuck in endless spending).

Where does Ukraine get the manpower (not to mention nuclear weapons) for a quick overall victory over Russia?

The Russians are used to that. Getting their soldiers killed by the thousands and thousands has been their military for a long time.

Like when they attacked Finland in WWII. The winter war. Strategically the Russians needed the high ground. So they sent a human wave attack until their dead bodies were piled up ~40 feet high so that they now had the high ground even though they had to climb up a 40 foot stack of dead Russian stinky rotted decomposing corpses to get there. War is hell.

The Russian military doctrine presumes that they will suffer millions and millions of casualties. They don't give a fuck.
