No matter how tough life gets in America, thank the Lord that you are not living in creepy Canada...

My thoughts on this Sunday as I ponder and reflect on my life and the unaccountable caste system of which I was born.

Thank you for your time, as you were.

Odd that you mention creepy.....I went up there several times fishing and they were a right creepy lot. Even the American lady who ran the lodge told us they had odd ways.

Of course it was Quebec Provence so that may have had something to do with it. I've not had much use for them since what with their funny talk and surly manner. ;)

In Ontario you need a license to fish, among other peculiar rules. If you don't pay the fee and sure your license when fishing, you will be fined handsomely. Also, you can't keep the fish, LOL!

Well we went back in the 70s and 80s, I never ate so many Walleye in my life. The lady at the lodge would have some of our catch cooked-up for our supper. Damn they were good.

The lodge provided the licenses but they had to keep them there for some reason.

It's like that in Florida too. If I find a state where I can just go and fish without having to get with the government first? I'm there!
I only think about knocking off and going fishing a few times a year, but then I think about FWC fines and all the bullshit, and how you have to have a license for this and that, and don't. :(

I'll never forget the time a Canadian border bitch stopped me while entering canada with my mother who was a canadian citizen.
I was escorting my mother so she could visit her sister before they both lost their minds from dementia.
The border bitch actually asked if I planned on staying in canada.
I laughed in her face and asked why I would choose canada over Texas.
