No, MAGA Did NOT Lose the 11/2023 Election, Yes Dems Are STILL Doomed in '24

Care to explain how the 2020 election was rigged by the Democrats? You’ve already admitted the Democrats lost ground.

Strange they rigged an election and lost ground, don’t you think? Of course you don’t.

I'm sure countless others have already explained it to you.

Your Lefty masters concentrated entirely on the top of the ticket.

There were reports out of multiple precincts, particularly in deep blue crime ridden shitholes, of ballot dumps containing only a vote for President with the down-ballot options being blank.

BUT.

I purposely conceded a hypothetical where it wasn't stolen in order to move on from yet another thread about 2020.

And there you go again.

Can you show any of these “reports” or is it just another RW Fantasy?

Dude.

The purpose of this thread entails not going down that rabbit hole again.

Use a different search engine besides google.

I'm not jumping through your little Commie homework assignments.

The main thrust of 2020 as it pertains to the topic at hand, is the Dems had a very bad night in the House, and severely underperformed in the Senate.

I will take that as you got nothing

Take it however you like.

We've literally been over that tired argument at least a gazillion times, and when presented with evidence it changes nothing.

Do you honestly think anyone here believes you'd change your mind about anything....ever?

You may be the most obstinate forum member on here.

Meanwhile, back in 2020, my entire world view got hacked.

We're just different that way.

And they will win almost every single one of them. If they can win in Kansas, for god's sake, they can probably win everywhere. And think of the challenge to anti-abortion forces when they aren't looking at one Constitutional court case, but 50 clear constitutional amendments they'd have to overcome.

Wild-eyed women? Is that who you think won the referendums in Kansas and Ohio?

I hope you're not thinking you have some experience in your life comparable to the consequences of giving birth
LOL.....You must feel that I give a shit about some obscure woman I never met getting a abortion....Abort away, I could care less about them and their reasons for it.

It just galls your ilk that I see way beyond the "my body, my choice" BS your ilk try to pawn off on the public.....All I see is a future with less dems and burdens on society and that's always a good thing.

Sean Trende, a well respected polling analyst, has a more nuanced take on Tuesday's elections than "MAGA IS SCREWED, PASS IT ON!!!" (Surprise, surprise.)

And, for the record, he has wet the bed about Trump a number of times - so he's no one trick partisan pony; far from it.

Analysts are carefully parsing the results from Tuesday’s off-year elections. The truth is that these are an odd collection of races: Elections in two heavily red states that will sometimes elect Democratic governors, an abortion referendum in Ohio, and Virginia legislative races. It’s hard to read too much into them.

Virginia:

All told, it was a quite respectable showing for Republicans. It just wasn’t enough to carry the day under these maps.

Virginia is a blue-ish purple state, and these maps reflect that. Democrats are supposed to win under them. That they did so doesn’t really tell us much about the national mood.

Ohio:

While acknowledging that Republicans got "walloped" on abortion (and also noting there were virtually no Pro-Life ads on the air the entire campaign), he also pointed out this little contextual tidbit:

Republicans won control of the House after the Dobbs decision and held their own in Virginia.

Oh yeah. How soon we forget.

Anyway.

Kentucky:

What does this mean for the future? Likely not much.

The other Republican candidates on the ticket found more success. All won with between 57% and 61% of the vote, and only one lost a county other than Jefferson (Louisville), Franklin (Frankfort), and Fayette (Lexington). GOP treasurer candidate Mark Metcalf lost rural Rowan County by less than a point.

Overall, the Bluegrass State is unlikely to turn blue anytime soon.

He then loudly exclaimed:

"DARK BRANDON RULES! MAGA GOIN' DOWN!!!!"

;)

The problem is not the issues on the ballot that is costing Republicans, it's getting Republicans to the polls. The long story short is Ronna McDaniel needs to be unceremoniously ousted or if she an an ounce of respect for the voters at all, resign. Scott Presler needs to be made chairman like yesterday.

In my neck of the woods, Republicans got their asses kicked, and it appears to have been due to the abortion issue, which in factual terms had nothing to do with the offices that were in play. The offices had no role in abortion policy.

In Allegheny County, PA (Pittsburgh being the County Seat), we had an intelligent, articulate, experienced executive running against an inexperienced, fatuous, muchly tattooed "Democratic Socialist" woman, who from all indications had no platform other than to make people happy. And who denied that she was a Democrat Socialist, despite associating herself with that group from the beginning of her short political career. I don't have to mention who won.

For District Attorney, we had a long-term incumbent Democrat who Republicans have hated for more than a decade. He lost in the Democrat primary to a Soros-funded Leftist, but won the Republican primary in a write-in (he didn't campaign for it, and only reluctantly accepted the nomination). He barely won as a "Republican."

All other offices that were contested were won by Democrats. Same thing state-wide.

This was a test, and the voters of Pennsylvania flunked.
Well, maybe there are a lot of Americans who have different life experiences, perspectives and priorities than you.

Maybe instead of trying to "beat" them, and trying to make them live by YOUR perceptions and priorities, you could try to accurately understand them better and look for things on which you can agree. Get a little experience working with them, and then go from there. Like folks do in business, every single day. It's called collaboration, innovation.

Don't you think that ideas work better when everyone has some input, and some skin in the game? Like, say, our Constitution?

Just a thought. I'm not expecting anything.

Any of these reports from a reputable source?

Why would they commit such fraud and leave the rest of the ballot blank? Why not give Biden a few dozen vote margin. Its not like--according to you guys--the fraud just happened in one state...it was all over the place and involved millions of votes.

Further more...okay lets say they did that; how did the GOP gain seats?

Can you name anyone who had a vote cast in their name who was turned away at the polls when they tried to vote in person?

Jesus Christ, this thread is not about the 2020 Presidential election which has been debated a billion times on this forum.

So effing boring.

People want politicians to leave them alone. Democrats got wiped in 2010 because of the "you can keep your doctor" lie.

Democrats believe because of what happened Tuesday they are good to go with Biden. They aren't.

Democrats and Republicans never win elections. It's just that the other side loses bigger. If either party wants to win and maintain those wins they need to start leaving people alone, not always trying to control everything.
No, in 2010 we had a backlash against the black president. Today the people talking about you can keep your doctor are glad for Obamacare.

Republicans have been losing since 2018. And they will continue to lose as long as they are MAGA.

No, in 2010 we had a backlash against the black president.

So after electing Obama in 2008, our irredeemably racist nation did the typical thing in the mid terms and voted for the other party; then subsequently re-elected the Black President in 2012.

Because we're so hopelessly racist.

Makes perfect sense.

You mental case.
