Just stop with the lies about trafficking. DNA tests at the border are proving that the vast majority, well in excess of 3/4 of the children crossing the border, are travelling with their parents. Of the other children, the vast majority of them are travelling with other families members, but not parents. Children are NOT being trafficked across the border. Once again you believe the lies because it suits you.

Andrew Scheer has no chance of winning the election. Since Trudeau was elected, Conservatives have won provincial elections in 5 provinces and things were looking grim. But the Convservatives won one a single issue - by opposing the carbon tax, and in Ontario, the Liberal Premier was the most incompetent, inept politician ever seen in the Province, that is until they elected Doug Ford.
The problem is that outside of Alberta, Conservatives policies are pretty unpopular, the Conservatives immediately reverted to form, and started behaving like they always do. Doug Ford, who promised that no teachers or nurses would lose their jobs in his Administration, announced cuts to education, increasing class sizes, and requiring high school students to take online classes. Then announcing the firing of hundreds of teacher - 200 public school teachers in Peel Regiona alone, and that's just one school board in the province. The biggest cuts are to high schools, added to which there is no provision for providing computers or access for those online courses.
Wash, rinse and repeat for health care. He cancelled the increase in the minimum wage, and tried to roll back previous increases, and cut programs for the elderly. All while increasing the deficit with tax cuts to corporations and the wealthy. He also publically stated he's bringing American style healthcare to Canada. We're done with that shit. Andrew Scheer is promising the same thing.
Ford isn't hated in Ontario, he's LOATHED, and he is loathed by the people who voted for him and who he betrayed - low income folks, the elderly, and parents of school age children. People from Toronto refused to vote for him, and we tried to warn others what a disaster he'd be, but they elected him anyway. Those voters won't be fooled into voting Conservative anytime soon.
You can't win Canada without winning two of the three most populist provinces: Quebec, Ontario, or BC. Quebec will NEVER vote Conservative, they will especially NOT vote from someone from the Western Provinces which are the Conservative stronghold. They voted for Mulroney because he was from Quebec and represented a Quebec Riding. Ontario WOULD have voted Conservative but Duggie Ford reminded them this is a really bad idea, and now they would't vote Conservative again if they were the only party running.
The Conservatives COULD have won the election, but as the freshman Conservative Premiers across the country are busily reminding their consituents, they're not governing for YOU, they're governing for the rich and the corporations. Canadians will not stand for that, and we won't be fooled into believing that a vote for Conservatives will in any way improve their lives. Even poor Canadians are smarter than that.
