Nikki Haley, considered a rising national star in the Republican Party, stumped Monday with Sen. Martha McSally in Scottsdale, blasting Democrat Mark Kelly over alleged business ties to China that she characterized as a national security threat.

"China is absolutely our number one national security threat, whether you ask a Republican or a Democrat," said Haley, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and a former South Carolina governor.

"We can't have a senator holding hands with our biggest national security threat," she continued. "He should be completely disqualified from running in this race altogether."

Once you receive the "China First" label, good luck to you. I pray that this is how it works for the foreseeable future in the West. For the sake of all who have died for our freedom (or what's left in creepy Canada).

Day late and a dollar short. I doubt Haley could have made a difference anyway.

The race itself is hugely important, though. This is essentially a special election, because McSally was appointed to fill John McCain's seat when he passed. Which means that if Kelly wins, he'll be taking office at the end of November, rather then in January as he would in a normal election.

Not long ago, I would have voted for Haley over her time spent at the UN. Not anymore. She's a Party of the Rump Whore.

And it’s only to finish the term which runs to Jan 2023 I believe.

A republican endorsed a republican candidate?

How ordinary.

Haley had positioned herself as a moderate voice in the Republican Party before she was tainted with the Stink of Trump.

It will be hard to shake

Ohhh how soon we forget Trump running businesses out of China...including the original line of MAGA hats before he was made to feel asinine.

I don't really know how long the term would be. Presumably, they don't want to throw off the cycle of only 1/3 of the Senate being up for re-election at any given time.
